Yesterday Cole and I went back to Rideau Ferry Antiques in pursuit of a birthday present for our friend, Jesse. I managed to bring my camera and take a whole bunch of pictures of some pretty crazy stuff. I’ll be posting some of the pictures when I get back home.

It’s really amazing how that place doesn’t just have one of anything, but you can find one super bizarre vase or figurine, and then look over to the left or right and see a few others that are identical. I found several vases that looked homemade and utterly unique that had twins a little farther down.

What really took us by surprise were the straight razors. Every other place we’ve been to has only had one or two if any at all. But at Rideau Ferry Antiques, we asked about them and the guy pulls out several boxes full of straight razors. There must have been over 50 of them.

It certainly was a fun little trip.
